I had my last ultrasound appointment yesterday and got to see a much needed/wanted peek at our little munchkin that will be here in just over THREE WEEKS!! It's crazy to think how quickly the pregnancy has flown by and even I think that!! I haven't had an ultrasound since my 20 week appointment but I've had all sorts of kicks, nudges, pokes, prods and feet in the ribs to know that all is ok in there!! The baby is already weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds 13 ounces and 19.1 inches long!! Yowsas!! We were told we could have an 8 1/2 pound baby if I go full term! Holy Shmoly Batman!! At this time during Adrey's pregnancy, Adrey weighed 5 1/2 pounds and we were told we would probably have a 7 1/2 pound baby... Adrey weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces, so the ultrasound tech is pretty darn accurate!! Oddly enough, I've gained LESS weight this pregnancy than I did with Adrey!!
The doctor said the amniotic fluid measurements are all good and the baby's measurements are wonderful. She said the baby is "fabulous"! Her words! Love hearing those wonderful words. Unfortunately I don't have any ultrasound pictures to post. We don't have a scanner where we're staying. But the photos really didn't turn out very well anyway... the baby is so big and only so much can fit in an image, so they really didn't show much. But we'll get to see/meet THE REAL DEAL here in 3 weeks, 3 days and 4 hours, but who's counting... oh yeah, I AM!! Seriously, I'm so ready to meet this little one!!
Last night John and Kerry golfed so the Wayne girls and Adrey and I went to the beach!! We've never had a 100% successful beach run... until last night. He LOVED it!! He was splashing in the water and laying down on his tummy and wading! He got to see all sorts of hermit crabs and live clams (big clams that would come out of their shells and look like giant tongues... seriously, I've lived here my whole life and have never seen anything like it!!). Even PICKING UP DRY SAND in his hands and playing with it! If you recall on previous beach outings I've described, if Adrey got ONE grain of sand on him he would freak out!! It's impossible to bring the good camera when I'm not with John because I don't have enough hands, but I managed to get a couple shots with my cell phone...
Adrey put on Katelyn's sunglasses (upside down) and then didn't want to take them off! And his smokin' hot Aunt, need I say more?
He even wore the sunglasses the WHOLE way home!
And today was a very special day for little Allison. Allison graduated Pre-K4 and will be going to KINDERGARTEN in the Fall. I can't believe it. Where does time go? What happened to the days she'd call me Woddie? I miss them, but love these days too. Cuz these days she's the cuddliest, kissiest, huggiest little 4 year old I know. They had a graduation ceremony for her class... caps and gowns and all. It was TOO much!!
Adrey was ALL over the church during the ceremony. I happen to catch this picture of Kerry and Adrey...
And she even got a diploma...
And she was the most fashionable graduate there with her glitter converse...
