An afternoon at the park...

Work is scary slow right now, so I'm taking advantage of the quiet time and spending it with Adrey!! My partner and assistant at work have been SO gracious in allowing me this last bit of alone time with my main squeeze before the baby arrives. Yesterday we hit the park. Where we are staying is about a 3 minute drive to a great park that actually has TREES around it and the park equipment is covered with colorful canopies to shade the kiddos, so the heat doesn't feel as dreadful!!

Was such a nice time! Being at "home" these days is a little challenging because I think Adrey is bored (limited toys and things to do, etc.) , but when we're out he's such my little buddy! He's really so much fun to be with and I just want to eat him up! Afterwards we went to the house to check out how things are coming. The floors are complete, they are in the process of reinstalling the baseboards and repainting, and the kitchen has been completely removed. They expect to be done with the baseboards, painting and construction clean up and will move all the furniture back in by the end next week. We won't be able to move in yet because we won't have any sort of a kitchen, but we can at least get the house put back together somewhat. That will be a huge relief just knowing things are in order, somewhat. We're going to head over to the house this weekend and pack up all the baby stuff we'll need so we're prepared when our little munchkin does arrive. We'll set up "house" here for another few weeks I guess. I think we'll be back in the house mid-to-late July.
