Fun in the Sun!!

Adrey and I both have quite the tans going right now (Daddy is slowly catching up)!! Honestly we are at the water park, pool or beach nearly every day because our little fish can't get enough of it!! And we've decided that the least amount of awake time spent at the condo with Adrey the better!! He's totally adjusted to the condo, but the condo is not toddler-proofed so when we're home he's wanting to get into everything!! So instead of constantly redirecting Adrey at the condo, I just pack a bag and cooler and we're OFF to hit the water... wherever that may be!!

Sunday that source of water was the water park!! We got there and Adrey had a complete meltdown as soon as I started to apply his sunscreen (not sure why because it's the same routine EVERY TIME we go out in the sun... oh yeah... I know why... he's nearly TWO!). I wasn't sure if he'd recover, but as soon as we pointed out the water spouts, there was a half smile, followed by a smirk and then he hauled butt right to them!!

We hadn't been in the "Tadpole Pool", as it's called, for more then 20 minutes when John spotted a nice POOP in the bottom of the pool. Several poops as a matter of fact, and one that had been stepped on. Nice. The "Tadpole Pool" was officially now the "Turdpole Pool". The poop was NOT Adrey's, by the way. We slowly exited the pool and I alerted the life guard. They then had to close down the pool, drain it, shock it and then refill it.... an hour process which I'm sure thrilled all the parents there! I totally think I figured out the kid that did it. She had "poopy pants" written all over her... there was no hiding it. We didn't hold it against her though. We just didn't play with her! LOL!!!!! While the pool was being de-turded, we played in the big pool and relaxed in the lazy river.

OH, speaking of lazy river.... I mentioned in my last post that I went to the water park with my girlfriends and our kids on Friday... we went on the lazy river then too.... So when we went to exit the pool, I realized Mama was physically STUCK in the inter tube. I. could. not. get out. I had to ask Billy to hold Adrey and then I tried to hoist myself out and I didn't even budge! I was laughing so hard! I told Jo she had to help me so she stood in front of me with both hands and pulled me out like the jaws of life! Holy crap it was hilarious! The ENTIRE water park witnessed Big Mama getting out of an inter tube! If you find it on YouTube, be sure to let me know! Lol!!

And towards the end of our 3 hour water park adventure, Adrey began to feel the effects of the sun and fun and was getting vewy sweepy! Mommy likey.

Oh, and remember a few posts back when Adrey made a peanut trail on his belly? Well this time it was a Cheez-It trail on Mommy's Baby Bump!!

Wowie zowie the baby has been kicking the entire time I've been updating the blog!! My belly visibly moving every which way!! It's hard to believe that I won't be feeling that much longer! I was telling John tonight that when I was pregnant with Adrey the movements in my belly were so much bigger and slower... the movements I feel now are like karate chops and lots of them!! I think we have a little Karate Kid in the making!!
