We had a great Father's Day Weekend that involved a lot of water activities (what's new?)!! Saturday we hit the pool where my big and little guys played their hearts out (mommy sat in the shade poolside and snapped away) in the pool. And since Saturday, and the introduction of the goggles, Adrey is now officially saying "goggle" which comes out as "goggew"... it's the cutest!!

This next picture makes me laugh because I picture him making a pirate sound.... "
rrrrrrrr"

He was enjoying sliding down the pole too...

And this next picture made me laugh out loud because John is PERFECTLY positioned behind
Adrey that it just looks like
Adrey has huge shoulders/arms! A little creepy actually!

And
Adrey can officially pull himself out of the pool from the side! He hoists his upper body up with his gigantic biceps and then swings his left leg followed by his right. I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw it! He's so strong!

And then he discovered a lizard that kept his attention for quite some time. He got right out of the pool and went over to check him out. The lizard was so chill and really couldn't have cared less that
Adrey was hovering over it.

We are doing our best to abide by the rules here at the condo but there are just a couple rules we've had to "tweak"... based on this sign, and the clock, we've broken two in this picture alone...
Broken Rule #1: We stayed until 7:00
Broken Rule #2: Adrey is a diapered/non toilet trained toddler

So many critters to see...

And I'm sure running around in your birthday suit around the complex is probably on the prohibited list too, but we made a mad dash for it anyway. And by "we" I mean
Adrey. John says
Adrey looks like a "Baby Big Foot" in this picture because of his stance! He totally does!

And this was the sunset from our living room window...

Father's Day morning we were up bright and early and showered Daddy with gifts and a finger-painted portrait done by none other than A-man himself! Then we were out the door by 7:30, hit
Panera Bread for some breakfast and then made our way to the BEACH for some early morning,
pre-dreadful heat, sand/water fun!! And
Adrey sported his new glasses compliments of his friend Ella.

It was picture-perfect outside!

Adrey went out in the water up to his chest for the first time and loved it!!

And he pointed out EVERY airplane and boat that went by like it was the FIRST time he'd ever seen anything like it! I love how he's so
dramatic about everything. It makes things so much more interesting!! Check out his biceps... seriously, he got some guns going!!

We ended the day at the Wayne's house where we had the most MAGNIFICENT meal!! Thank you SO MUCH Sarah for such a wonderful meal and evening. I've got an ADORABLE video of
Adrey and Katelyn dancing but first I have to figure out how to get it off my cell phone and onto the computer!!
And I can't let this post end without a shout out to MY WONDERFUL DAD. I love you with all my heart, Dad and can't thank you enough for all that you've done and do for us. You are wonderful, generous, caring and hilarious and you mean the world to me.
And to Orville, John's dad, who is no longer with us... we miss you dearly and love you. You were remembered fondly on Father's Day as you are every day. We love you and your spirit lives on in our hearts.
Sniff. Sniff.

I think running around in your birthday suit is considering breaking rule #3- No Boisterous Behavior! LOL Has Adrey grown gills lately?? This little toddler is a fish now; I love that he's in the water so much. Can't wait for our swim lessons next month. :)
