Happy Birthday John-John

John's birthday was yesterday, but we celebrated last Friday and we had an absolute blast. 

We may have had a few too many of these... 

And far too much of this...

But it was worth every bit of it (I'm preeeeeetty sure I wasn't saying that on Saturday though)!  The whole gang headed to Tommy's for John's birthday dinner.

And this happy couple BELOW (not to be confused with the happy couple ABOVE) announced at dinner that they are expecting BABY #2 in December!  Yahooooo!!  So happy for you both!

Tommy's seems to be "John's Place" for dinner.  We've gone there for dinner his last three birthdays.  A normal and crazy shot for all three years below.  We must really like these people as they've stuck around for a while now!!

We had some fun girl time too.

Erin was feeling, well, pregnant, and didn't stay as late as us party animals!

I can't remember the last time I laughed as much as I laughed that night.  We had such an awesome time!  We have THE BEST friends in the world!!  So much fun and love at that table!

John had to leave bright and early Monday morning to go to Michigan on business.  He was supposed to get home last night (on his birthday) around 11:00p.m., but his flight was delayed because of bad weather in Detroit.  He spent much of his birthday in the Detroit Metro airport by himself on his birthday!  SO SAD!  He didn't end up getting home until 3:00a.m.!  So tonight we had a relaxing (as relaxing as it can be with a 2 year old in the house!) quiet evening at home and celebrated with a nice dinner (chilean sea bass, crab meat stuffed portobello mushrooms, rice and broccoli) and some cookies for dessert.

Glad you're home... The dog poop is piling up in the yard as that is NOT a duty I take over when you're away. LOVE YOU!
