CANCUN baby!!

WE'RE HERE!!  And oh my gosh are we having fun!!  The water here is the bluest water I've ever seen.  It looks fake it's so blue!!  We have a perfect view of the beach and Gulf from our room. 

The trip here went very smoothly.  I wasn't quite sure how it would work out with the boys and the plane, but it was great!  We drove to Ft. Lauderdale to catch the flight... the drive there was actually longer than the flight to Cancun!!  Charlie had a "blowout" at the airport, which ended up on my shorts as well (lovely).  I, of course, had a change of clothes in the diaper bag for Charlie, but didn't have a change of clothes for MOMMY!!  Needless to say, after some scrubbing, I had seriously wet pants for a while there!!  Both boys were amazing on the plane.  Adrey had a hard time resisting the temptation to kick the chair in front of him, but after a few "threats" from Daddy, he was able to control himself!  LOL!!  Charlie sat on my lap the whole time and eventually fell asleep mid-flight.  The lady next to me was NOT thrilled to be sitting next to a baby.  When she was boarding the plane and saw me and Charlie, she actually had the nerve to say under her breath  "Oh, great".  So rude.  Anyway, Charlie totally proved her wrong.  Biiiiaaatch.

We arrived at the hotel about noon and promptly put on our bathing suits and headed to the pool.  The weather is perfect.  Warm but not grossly hot.  And there's always a breeze (actually, pretty windy) so it's great!

Poor Charlie isn't feeling well.  I decided on Saturday that I wanted to take Charlie to the doctor before we left just to be sure he didn't have an ear infection.  He didn't have any symptoms of an ear infection, but he's prone to getting them and the last thing I wanted was to get to Mexico and have him get one.  So, I took him to the doctor and what do you know, he DID have an ear infection.  He's on an antibiotic for that.  Then Sunday night, before going to bed, I noticed he had discharge in his eye.  By Monday morning (the day we left) it was in both eyes.  So, I took Charlie to the onsite doctor, here at the resort, and sure enough he has an infection in both eyes!  Ugh. My poor baby!!  Fortunately, this morning, after a few rounds of the eye drops, his eyes are already much better and I can tell he's feeling better!

Lesa and John arrived about 9:00 on Monday.  We've been having so much fun with them!!

Last night we went out to dinner at a restaurant here at the resort.  It was a gorgeous night.  The service here is INCREDIBLE and the people that work here are some of the nicest people!  They are so helpful and courteous and ALWAYS have a smile on their faces!!  It's been really nice.

I forgot my camera yesterday at the pool so I have few pictures to post now.  I'll be taking it todayfor sure.  More to come.  Stay tuned!!
