We are home!! Cancun was absolutely the BEST family vacation!! We had an absolute blast and the boys could not have been better. Despite ear infections, eye infections (which, unfortunately got us ALL!), and cold-like symptoms for us all, we a wonderful vacation. Unfortunately BLOGGER was down for two days while we were in Cancun so I was unable to post! But we got some great pictures along the way. Each day we were up by 7:00, would get our acts together and head down for breakfast and then we were swimming by 9:30!!
Adrey is the most social toddler I have ever met. Which is funny because before starting school he was very "anti-social" (if a toddler can be anti-social). He has blossomed into a beautiful butterfly and talks to EVERYONE he comes in contact with! By day three of our vacation, Adrey would walk by random people and say, "Hola!" SO CUTE!! We met a lot of nice people at the pool of which we became quite friendly with... we sat by them every day so we really got to know them. Good people. And they loved the boys! Adrey put on quite the show each day. Every five seconds he'd say, "Watch me!" and if you didn't look up right away he'd yell, "HEY! Watch me!". And while he was emerging from the water he'd automatically be turning around to see if you were watching him! H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S.!!

There was a Ritz-Carlton Resort just a short walk down the beach and there was a little jungle gym there so we went there a couple days so Adrey could play!
Poor Charlie was not feeling 100% but a stranger sure wouldn't have known it. He got compliments left and right as to what a good baby he was! He was so "chill" the entire time and did nothing but smile!
He loved the water!
Adrey even got to hold an IGUANA!! He was a little skeptical at first but once he saw Mama do it (oh, the things I do for my babies) he was fine with it!!

The boys at dinner one night!
Each day we'd head back to the room about 2:00 for baths and then nap time. The boys would sleep for 3-4 hours each day! John and I would take turns being in the room. A couple of the days, Lesa and I brought pottery and paint up to the room... it's really cool... they have a ton of pottery pieces to choose from and then you paint them and they fire them. They made for great gifts!!
One of John's friends (and now mine:-) from Michigan, Jim, also owns a timeshare the same week so we got to spend time with him and his wife, Amy. Jim went fishing one day and they caught two huge Mahi-Mahi and a tuna so they brought it back to the hotel and the restaurant there cooked it for us. It was the BEST fish I have ever eaten!! It was a sure feast!
There were 16 of us! So fun! The boys were ANGELS... Adrey played with the iPad until the last 20 minutes and then he passed out mints to everyone at the table! Charlie sat in his highchair for quite a bit and then on my lap never making a peep!!

At then end of the dinner, they had a cake brought out to the table and we sang happy birthday to two people at the table AND Happy Anniversary was sung to John and me which I thought was so thoughtful of them! We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on May 5th!!
Lesa LOVED being with the boys! And I loved watching her with them. Lesa is such an important part of my life and I want my kids to know her! Adrey ADORES her! Every morning he'd say, "Where's Lesa and John?" and couldn't WAIT for them to wake up!!
