Happy Mother's Day to all my wonderful mommy friends out there! I hope you all had a wonderful day and that your kids made you feel extra special!! This morning Adrey brought me a present and a card. The present was the following framed photo of both my babies. I absolutely LOVE this picture!!
John explained to me that it took several attempts before getting "the one". Here are the trial runs with a little narration from John.
"Ok boys, sit right there so I can get a picture"
"Ok, Adrey, hold up the sign."
"Not in front of your face, Adrey, bring it down so I can see you"
"Adrey you forgot to smile"
"I still can't see your face, Adrey"
"Adrey, look at the camera and turn the sign around"
"PERFECT!!"
We headed to the Waynes house tonight for a little Mother's Day dinner. It's always so cute seeing Nana and the boys together. She just loves Charlie. But how could you not? He has an ear infection so he's got extra cuddles to share.
This next picture makes me laugh right out loud. I have got to frame this ASAP. He looks so "grown up"! So cute I can't stand it! I love how his hair is all sticking out and his spaced out crooked teeth are all showing. He couldn't be any more perfect if he tried.
FOUR GENERATIONS. I love this picture and feel truly blessed and honored to have these extraordinary women in my life (and kids too, of course, but in the spirit of Mother's Day, well, you know). I love you all more than you will ever know. Thank you for being you. You are truly amazing.
