Thursday was our last stop... Grand Turk. We paid $60 to go to the beach and "smarkel" for 30 minutes... which equates to $2.00 a minute. Plus we tipped the driver $5.00 and bought a Diet Coke for $3.00. Adrey was not having the beach AT ALL! The salt water was bothering his eyes, he was hot and he was hungry. Not a good combination at all!!
Best part of the whole morning was listening to Adrey refer to snorkeling as smarkeling! Wasn't a big deal, though, we just hopped back on the bus and went back to the boat that we basically had to ourselves! Charlie was a happy camper the whole time!
I love this next picture... the fact that Adrey's one eye is shut because it was bothering him and extra sensitive to the sun kinda gives the picture that much more character given what we had just been through...
So we got back on the boat and went UP and DOWN the slide a bunch more times!!
Friday was our last day at sea. John took a 4 hour tour of the boat and got to get the inside scoop on what goes on behind the scenes. He learned lots of interesting facts which were kinda fun!! While he was doing that. We all went to a towel folding class to learn how to make some of the cools towel animals that the housekeepers made!
Celio, our housekeeper, was one of the staff members helping out so he took right to Adrey and helped him make his creations!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!! And I did NOT tell Adrey to pose like that. I just asked him to get next to Celio and their elephant so I could get a picture and THIS is what he did!!! CLASSIC!!
This was a week I will never forget. I love my family more than anything in the whole wide world and I feel so BLESSED in so many ways. Thank you, GOD, for my family.
They are my heart.
They are my world.
