Time has just gotten away from me and I can't keep up with it!! We've had a summer jam packed with fun. Part of that fun was the celebration of TWO VERY SPECIAL BOYS!! Charlie turned 2 on July 1st and Adrey turned 4 on July 23rd. I can't even believe they're 2 and 4... doesn't seem possible. The boys celebrated with 24 of their closest friend at our house!! Getting a group picture (as you can see there are some missing) was not easy as you can imagine!!
About 20 minutes in to the party it started lightening really bad so all the kids had to get out of the pool! Who plans a pool party at 3pm in the middle of summer??? Oh yeah, I do. So all the kids were crammed inside the play room. Thank goodness, just before the party, I decided to buy the game "Pin the Nose on the Clown"... because that took of all of THREE minutes to play! LOL!
But about 45 minutes later they were all back in the pool again!

We got the boys a trampoline for their birthdays and they LOVE it. It was a HUGE hit at the party too! The kids, for the most part, followed directions and took turns. The boys spend a LOT of time on the trampoline these days, which has taken place of the couch and beds, so we're thrilled!
"Ghetto Bella" is what I called Bella that day. Her Mama didn't bring a suit for Bella so she just wore one of Charlie's swim diapers. Either way, she's the cutest darn thing!
The party theme was SpiderMan!
That's our neighbor holding Charlie. Her name is Mykala and Adrey has a SERIOUS crush on her. When he sees her he just kinda melts... he can no longer function... he loses all ability to speak or stand up straight and there's NO wiping the smile from his face!! Cutest. Thing. Ever. She's the sweetest, kindest, most polite 13 year old I think I've ever met. She's so good with the boys. We love having her over!!
And during the party, two of our three toilets backed up. Not only did the toilets get clogged, but the disgusting water started creeping up in to the tub/shower in both bathrooms! It was a nightmare! The house smelled like a sewage plant!! Luckily, Acres Plumbing came to the rescue (during the party), and having Rochelle and Rene Acres in attendance at the party didn't hurt... I'm pretty sure they got there just a little sooner and plunged just a little harder because of that:-) Before Acres Plumbing arrived John was busy at work. Culprit of the clog? WET WIPES.
But the party continued on!!

By the end of the party the house was a disaster...
But the kids were happy and that's all that matters:-)
(yes, that is sweat in Adrey's hair that is dripping down his face on to his chin. THAT'S how much fun they had!)
And then Sunday night we had a quiet celebration with Nana, Stacia and my parents to celebrate both boys. It was just to chaotic the day before!! They both got more presents than they knew what to do with and ate more cake then they should have, but you only turn 2 and 4 once, so we did it up big.
I love you boys more than life itself.
I'm so glad we have YOU to celebrate.
You bring us more joy than I could have ever imagined.
