We are back from our cruise and BOY do I have some great pictures to share, but I don't quite yet have them organized!! I still have "sea legs" so sitting to type this blog is nice! HA!
We had a great, FUN-FILLED 4th of July that started with the parade downtown. It was, oh, about 150 degrees outside, but we went and the kiddos really enjoyed it!!
Our dear friends Randalynn, Chad and Olivia were in town from St. Louis and we got to see them! Such a beautiful family they are!
After the parade, we headed to the La Playa where are friends, Jennifer and Dave, are members. They invited us to join them for a day of fun in the sun at the pool/beach! It ended up being a really nice day before the late afternoon rains that came.
JoJo and MJ joined us too!!
This is Jonathan, Jennifer's son who is 7 years old. He was sitting on the side of the pool, obviously not happy. I walked up to him and asked him what was wrong. He told me that everyone had a squirt toy except for him. So I walked over to Adrey and told him that it would be a really nice thing if he shared his squirt toy with Jonathan. I didn't make Adrey give it up, but told him that if the roles were reversed, that he would like it if someone shared with him. That was all I said and then I walked away.
Not even a minute later, Adrey walked up to Jonathan and gave him the toy. I had such a proud mama moment and I made sure he knew just how proud I was.
Adrey and MJ were like two peas in a pod that afternoon.
They get along so well. I love that so much.
Come 2:00, Charlie couldn't hack it anymore!
But the party continued...
Charlie and MJ have something pretty special too. MJ even shared her princess diapers with Charlie.
We played us some "Ring Around the Rosie" too.
And when it started raining outside, we all snuggled up in Jennifer's hotel room until the sun came out again!
Jonathan and his Mama, Jennifer!
We stayed to see the fireworks. It was a LONG day!!
Such a fun day! The cruise was a blast. Stay tuned for TONS of cute sea pictures to come!!
