Sarah and Mom's Birthday Dinner

We celebrated a couple more birthdays last weekend.

The two most special and beautiful women in my life...

My parents, Sarah and Katelyn (unfortunately Allison wasn't feeling well so she and Kerry stayed home and my Grandma wasn't feeling well either) came over.  We ate, we drank, we listened to Adrey say, "KK wook.  KK come here.  KK help me.  KK...KK...KK..." and we watched Charlie ham it up to make everyone laugh.  We had a good time.  I love spending time with my family.

And we did it up big.

Yeseree-Bob, Mom LOVES Publix carrot cake (she really PREFERS that over a fancy, expensive cake you can buy elsewhere), and Sarah, well, Sarah's not picky as long as CHOCOLATE is involved.  The cake stayed right in the plastic container and the candles were put in a half eaten brownie (Sarah made a to-go container, which included dessert, for Kerry and ran it home to him before we ate so he could have dinner too!).  Yeah, I'm so classy.  And I love how my family doesn't even question it!

"Action shot"...

And see what I mean about Charlie?  I am not even kidding.  The kid totally knows he's cute and he puts on a show when he knows he has an audience.  It's the absolute cutest thing ever.  The kid was born with a few extra cute genes than the average baby.

Speaking of Charlie... I picked him up from school yesterday and he had a rash all over his face.  Teeny tiny bumps and blotches of red.  I'm not certain what it is, he's acting fine, but my guess is that he's having an a little reaction to the strawberries he ate yesterday.  Also, earlier in the week, Adrey clocked Charlie in the face with a tee-ball stand and scraped the side of his nose and it's all scabbed up.  Today is Charlie's school pictures... poor kid is gonna look back on these pictures and think he was beat up!!

Charlie also says "uh-oh" likes it's going out of style. He knows how to use and whenever given the opportunity he'll throw one of those out there.  If he's sitting in his high chair and I'm standing at the fridge and drop something, I'll hear a teeny tiny "uh-oh" from across the way.  When I make eye contact with him it's followed by a giant smile as if to say "in case you didn't know, you just dropped something".  John randomly texted me yesterday and said, "Seriously, can you think of Charlie and not get a smile on your face right now?"  The answer is a definitive NO.  NOT POSSIBLE.

(My Grandma is not feeling well these days.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.)
