Last Sunday we packed up and headed to the playground.
It was 165 degrees outside. At least.
I see in this next picture, how much Adrey is really growing up. He's filling out (finally) and just growing into himself. Makes my heart warm and fuzzy (and a little sad too) all over.
Aunt Sarah's just a big kid...
I love how Adrey's sunglasses go OVER his ears. I offered to fix them for him but he didn't want me to. Because then he wouldn't be being independent and he's all about independent and accomplishing things on his own.
Devin and Lexi came too!
I love how in this next picture Charlie looks as if to be saying, "Paleeezzz, do we HAVE to be taking another picture?"
MJ was a part of the fun also.
I wanted to get a group picture of all the kids. As mentioned before, it was 165 degrees outside so not only was it HOT, it was BRIGHT too. With the sun behind me, the kids were all having a hard time keeping their eyes open for the camera. Katelyn kept closing her eyes when I would take the picture, so finally she said, "I'm going to close my eyes and when you count to three I'll open them!". I think in this next picture Katelyn might actually be HOLDING her eye lids open!!
OMG Adrey... I freakin' love this kid.
And Sunday night, we had a SUCH a fun adult's night out! All the kiddos came over to our house and played with a sitter and we went out with a group and had ADULT CONVERSATION (and adult beverages) for 3 hours! It was great!! My longtime and dear friend, Desiree, was in town visiting her parents so I was sure to snag her for the evening! I JUST now noticed Sarah is not in this picture????
I think this is such a great picture of everyone!
If you haven't been to Latitudes (southeast corner of Airport and Vanderbilt) restaurant you should definitely go. It was great ambiance and food! Thanks for a great evening, friends. It was an absolute blast!!
