Allison turned six on July 28th. Hard to believe, but it's true. We celebrated last weekend at our clubhouse with a pool party! When John and I met, Allison had just started walking and now she's got her own fashion style, she could eat candy all day long if she were allowed, and she says "Just sayin'" like it's going out of style!
Yup, she's 6.
The kids played "Pin the tail on the unicorn" which Katelyn designed herself.
Charlie didn't participate in the game, instead he crawled around the room and mingled with the party-goers. He's such a social butterfly.
And practiced his yoga positions.
(These aren't sunburned cheekers, just HOT cheekers!)
Love this next picture of my little man. He's getting so big and every day he blows me away in some way, shape or form as to how much he's sprouting into this adorable little person. The other day John was getting ready for work and he and Adrey had a conversation...
Adrey: Daddy, where you goin'?
John: To work.
Adrey: To work? Why?
John: Because I have to make money.
Adrey: Have to make money? Why?
John: It's just something adults have to do, someday you will too.
Adrey: Oh.
And then the next morning John had already left for work by the time Adrey woke up. When Adrey woke up he asked where Daddy was. I told him Daddy was at work and Adrey said, "Cuz he's gotta make coins?" Yes, because he's gotta make coins! LOL! So now that's our saying when John leaves to go to work... he's goin' to make COINS!
The other day Adrey was playing in the playroom and he got in the bucket again. He then said, "Mama, I'm in the bucket. Take a picture!" So I obliged...
And I asked him if I could put Charlie on him and he said yes. A couple seconds later, breathless he said, "Mommy, Cha-she heavy."
Last weekend we headed over to my parents house for "Thanksgiving in July". Yup, mom and dad had the WORKS right smack dab in the middle of July. And it was DE-LISH! Mom wanted to get pictures of our families to update her picture frames. I love how they turned out.
My little peanut. He's such a good baby. I swear he's got the best disposition of any baby I've ever met. Always so chill!
This next picture is great. All the kiddos on a hill! The "shoot" lasted all of three seconds as Charlie had entirely too many other things to be tending to besides taking a silly picture!
And just a random of my little man wearing my spare pair of glasses. I love how he's gripped right on to me. I could have opened my arms wide and let go of him and he'd have been stuck in the same position. MUAH I love him.
