I can't believe I forgot to post the BEST pictures from the 4th of July!! The evening of 4th of July we headed to Jen and Mike's house for a BBQ. They had the BIGGEST, most TASTY spread of food! I mean, we're talking burgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, chicken wings.... so much yummy food! I got a group shot but poor Bella didn't make it in the shot (she's just to the left of Mike)!!
Adrey is doing AWESOME at potty training. He's pretty much got it down pat. At home sometimes after he goes to the bathroom he doesn't feel like putting his underpants back on so he goes bare butt around the house. We are trying to get him in the habit of getting dressed again after using the potty! Anyhoo, while we were there, I took Adrey to the bathroom and when he was done he said he didn't want to put his underpants/shorts back on. I told him that we were at someone else's house and that it was inappropriate to be bottomless in front of everyone. He put up a bit of stink, but we left the bathroom with his bottoms ON (he didn't have a shirt on because it had gotten wet and was in the dryer). We headed outside for sparklers next. The amount of time it took me to take the sparklers out of the package and light one of them, I turned around and Adrey was completely butt naked (or is it buck naked...) with his hand out waiting for the sparkler! We were all in hysterics. Our friends there are basically family, so we continued on like it was no big deal...
John told me (on NUMEROUS occasions actually) that when he was in high school he won an award (TWICE actually... but who's counting) for the "Best Butt" award. I think Adrey is following in his Daddy's footsteps! Ha!
Charlie was just happy to be there...
The boys' birthday party was Saturday! Was such a blast!! Pictures to come soon.
