Adrey and Charlie's Birthday Bash!

The month of July is just going to be an entire month of celebrating!  First Charlie's actual birthday on the 1st, the joint birthday party for the boys on the 9th, and then we still have Adrey's actual birthday to celebrate on the 23rd!  Last Saturday we celebrated with all of our friends at the water park. 

Now that Adrey is the little swimmer that he is, he much prefers the big pool over the kiddie pool.  I mean, the kiddie pool, is for "babies"... ha!  He spent only a few minutes in the kiddie pool before he begged his daddy to take him to the big one!

It was so fun having all of our friends and their little ones together!

This next little guy, Zachary, is going to be a big brother come December!

Ella's Cake did another FANTASTIC job on the boys' cake!!

Adrey was NONE TOO PLEASED about having to leave the pool to have cake!  He was way too busy mastering the breast stroke to be bothered!  He was such a grumpy pants when it was time to sing and blow out the candles!

I was busy singing and watching Adrey and Charlie, and when I looked up to witness Adrey blow out the candles, I noticed the candles had already been blown out by someone.  I didn't know who did it, nor did it really matter, and Adrey didn't care because he was too busy being Mr. Grumpy Pants, but the proof is in the next picture.  KK, you're BUSTED!!  (Love Adrey's face in the background!)

Daniella, who made the cake, told me that the top tier of the cake was on a dowel and would "slide right off" to give to Charlie.  Yeah... slide right off, I don't think so.  I had to use both hands and PULL it off. 

Charlie was NOT impressed with, or amused by, the cake.  I think had he not been so tired it might have been different, but he wanted nothing to do with it!

And within 5 minutes of removing him from the high chair and wiping him off, he fell asleep!  I love when he falls asleep in my arms.  PRECIOUS!

He slept for a good hour.

When we got home from the party Adrey said he wanted to take a nap with his balloons.

And so he did.
