Well, we made it home!! And I can't believe we were gone for 7 days and I was only able to update the blog ONCE!! Holy shmoly! I guess you can only do SO MUCH relaxing when you have a toddler and a newborn!! Both kids were AMAZING on the trip though! Seriously, I couldn't have asked for two better behaved little ones. They were perfect and I was so proud of them! Adrey only had a nap 3 of the 8 days we were away and he was SUCH a champ!! He definitely got tired around naptime, but NEVER got cranky when a nap was missed! He just wanted to be a part of the action!! Adrey enjoyed every minute with his cousins and loved all the attention he was getting from EVERYONE.... and I think Charlie was HELD every minute of all 7 days by someone that was lovin' on him!! We're back to reality now though, where there won't be any shortage of LOVE that's for sure, but fewer people doing the 24/7 everyday lovin'!!!
I forgot to get a picture of the house we rented. Duh. But I did get some good shots of our time on the lake and at the aquarium. We rented a couple boats on Wednesday and enjoyed a couple beers while cruising the lake. And I use the word "cruisin" very loosely... seriously... the boat was battery powered and went all of about 3 miles an hour... literally. It didn't even make a wake! LOL!

We had to tell Charlie all about the boat ride afterwards because he slept through the whole thing!! I think he was enjoying the warm (very warm) and humid (extremely humid) air and breeze (or lack thereof)!!

Adrey found an old beaded bracelet in one of the cup holders and was happy as a clam the rest of the boat ride. He immediately snapped it and all the beads went everywhere and then he was putting them in and taking them out of the beer bottle, occasionally tossing a bead overboard and peering over the side to see where it went! Oh the simple pleasures of being TWO!!
And on Thursday the Ritcheys and the Wayne girls headed to Atlanta and visited the aquarium again. Adrey was there when he was 4 months old, but didn't quite remember it! He really enjoyed seeing all the fish and sea mammals this time around!! There were lots of "ohs" and "ahs" and pointing! He sucked the air out of the room, out of excitement, on a few occasions too!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my baby sling. Don't know what I'd do without it! (Susan, this is one of the things I'm going to email you about... just haven't had the chance) I love having him so close and also like the fact that it frees up BOTH of my hands so that I can still chase and catch a certain curious two year old if need be!!

This next picture was taken at the house. I LOVE IT! Unfortunately Adrey had already gone to bed. I have yet to get a picture of all four of them!! This shot quickly came to an end when Charlie hurled all over Katelyn... she pretty much just let him go... but we caught him, so no worries!! LOL!
I am so sad to see such a wonderful week come to an end, but feel so fortunate and blessed to have weeks like that to be a part of and such amazing people to share it with. We created some wonderful memories. We have been blessed with truly beautiful people in our lives. We love you all so much.
