Yup, John turned another year older on Tuesday. His REAL birthday consisted of an iPad (which I may soon regret because he hasn't put the thing down since he opened it!!), a pair of cuff-links and a batch of warm brownies!! But the REAL celebrating occurred last night... at one of our favorite spots in Naples...
The evening started out "ooooing" and "ahhhing" over the newest additions to our families. It's hard to believe that in just a month or two how much the little peanuts fill out... they are just so beautiful!! Reintroducing.... Zachary (2 months old) and Bella (1 month old)..
And we must not forget Billy who has taken his role of big brother very seriously and is doing a FAB job!! He was our entertainment for the evening...
We were surrounded by our "besties" all night and it was a ball!!
Awwwww, I wuv my family! Oh, and Adrey is just a little (ok, A LOT) too active to go out to dinner and for us to enjoy any adult time so he stayed home with his babysitter and watched Shrek and played... something he'd WAY rather be doing than sitting in a high chair at a restaurant... oh, who am I kidding... if he came with us he would have been STANDING in the high-chair, throwing food over the side and trying to escape. Actually, he probably WOULD have enjoyed that because it would have meant me CHASING him around for 2 hours!! Scratch all that!!
Oh, how things have changed in just a year's time... All sorts of new Daddy's lovin' on their little ones. Really is special to witness.
And it's funny to see all the things on the tables these days... pacifiers, infant carriers, burp clothes...
