Once Upon a Lily Pad

I thought it was so cute Adrey and monkey's feet under the book.

Tuesday night at Katelyn's school, her entire second grade put on the cutest performance. Once Upon a Lily Pad was it's title and it was adorable. It's so crazy to me that Katelyn is already 8 years old and in 2nd grade. Doesn't seem possible.

It looks like Maria is Baptizing Katelyn in the picture... not sure what she's doing!

But whatever they're doing they're obviously not paying attention!! LOL!

Adrey enjoyed the first 5 minutes of the performance as the music and clapping really got his attention, but after the 5 minutes was up he needed different entertainment. So Daddy and Adrey looked at sticker books...

And Adrey walked up and down the aisle checking things out.

It was so funny to see all the cameras in action at the performance. So many proud parents!

Wednesday night John and Kerry golfed, so Sarah, the kids and I went to the mall and just walked around. Katelyn was in need of some new clothes, so we just joined the party. Allison and Adrey were bored of clothes shopping, so the three of us hit the indoor playground. Adrey LOVES that place!! And I have to say he was the HIT of all the kids because he had a matchbox car with him that ALL the kids wanted to play with! They were chasing Adrey around (which forced him to high-tail it around the place in hysterics) and he would throw it and it was being tossed around like mad. From one kid to another and then back to Adrey. Well, Adrey managed to leave the place with the matchbox car AND strep throat. I'm convinced that's where he had to get it because Thursday night is when he started to feel warm and he's not around other kids on a regular basis. Ugh. The poor little guy had a 103 fever by Friday and was so lazy and sad. Hasn't had much of an appetite either. Poor thing. Took him to the doctor Friday morning and that's when the doctor said he has strep throat. Hopefully he'll be back to new in no time. I don't like it when he's not himself. Although I DO like all the extra cuddles I'm getting. He won't sleep in his crib... he MUST sleep sprawled out on MOMMY'S chest.... Ummmm, OKAY!! I've been eating up every bit of it up, but hope that he feels better quickly.
