Well, Adrey had his NINE month check up yesterday and he's good for another 10,000 miles!! He weighs 22 pounds (75th percentile) and is 30 inches long (90th percentile)!! Our baby boy is 2 and 1/2 feet tall!! He can start using sippy cups for water to get him used to it so that at a year we can eliminate the bottle (or at least try, right?). I can't believe that... it sounds so "grown up"!! Adrey says "da da" all the time now. When he's happy and playing it's "Da da da da da da da" all the day long and as soon as he's saddies he starts with the "Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ma". Is that funny or what? Not sure yet if he's associated Mama and Dada with us, but it's still cute:-)
We've decided to add on to our home as we're starting to spill out of it! We are closing in the lanai and making it air conditioned living space. They started construction yesterday and should be done in about 8 weeks. I'll be sure to get some before and after pics. We will gain an office and a playroom by doing this. We can then use the 3rd bedroom (currently being used as an office) as a bedroom:-)
Bathtime is still a challenge in terms of where to do it. As of late, we just have his baby tub INSIDE the guest shower!! We're having a tub installed in the guest bath while they are doing construction on the lanai. It will be SO nice when that's in. Meanwhile we'll keep doing what we're doing. The venue for the tub makes no difference to Adrey... he's happy to bathe anywhere! Watch the video below... Adrey LOVES when water is poured on his head and goes down his face!!

exciting stuff! renos are a pain, but it will be so worth it. oh yeah, so great to hear adrey is on the move. let the games begin :).
