Babies, Baths and Beaches

Late Thursday night, Ryan and Sam, welcomed their SON, Chase Robert Senkarik, into the world!! After a VERY long labor, THIS was the beautiful result!!

Weighing in at a whopping 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 19 inches long!

Being in the hospital and seeing the precious babe and the new parents brought back a lot of emotion from our experience just 9 MONTHS ago!!

Thursday night (ironically while Sam was enduring labor pains and pushing away), John, Adrey and I went to Nana's for dinner. Pot roast, potatoes and asparagus followed by peach cobbler were on the menu and it was soooooo yummy!! The pictures aren't the best quality because they were taken from a cell phone:-(

Nana has an antique high chair that Adrey sat in at dinner. I had to put a pillow behind him because there was so much room and I had to use Nana's apron to strap him in!! He still managed to eat like a king!


Last night Allison came over for a bit because Sarah had to work and Kerry and Katelyn had to do something. I tried to have Adrey take a bath with Allison in the BIG tub, but Adrey was SO sad and wanted nothing to do with it. We still bathe him in his little bathtub in the kitchen sink because we're trying to wait as long as possible to have to use the big tub that will break our backs! The time has come though (he's WAY too big for the kitchen sink) and I thought by doing it with Allison would make it fun. Not so much. He cried so hard he threw up. Poor babe.

I scooped Adrey up got him dressed and then Adrey and I folded laundry and watched Allison play in the tub. At one point Allison said, "I want you to leave please"... which translates to, "I want to do something I'm not supposed to". I left and peaked around the corner and sure enough she grabbed the liquid soap and POURED almost the whole bottle into the tub.... but that's ok. I didn't say anything. Kids are SUPPOSED to go to their aunt's house and get away with everything!!

This morning we got up, ate breaky and drove to the beach for a nice walk!! The weather has been beautiful lately and I'm so taking advantage of it. Before we know it, it will be grotesquely HOT!! I love this picture!!

He got tired so he rested his head on my hand and I blocked the sun with my other hand. Adrey wore a sleeveless shirt today... we're trying to work on getting rid of the farmer's tan!!

TONS of stingrays out today!! Not sure if you can see them in the picture, but they're there!!

Such a beautiful day spent with my beautiful family. Off to Costco once Adrey wakes up from his nap. Love Costco. Especially love Saturdays when they have all the food samples...
