Michigan: Day Two

This is Mats, Judee and Max's house... where we're staying. Such a darling house, on a darling street (see picture number 2). Their home was built in the late 1800's, as are many of the houses in the area, I imagine. The town is quaint, none of the streets and none of the houses look the same, and the grass and trees are SO green (and it's the beautiful grass that's teeny tiny and soft)! The Lonnemo's are such gracious hosts. I will come home 5 pounds heavier no doubt, but it will all have been worth it!

This morning John, Adrey and I went for a walk, which took us through a cemetery. This was the beautiful road and scenery leading to the cemetery.

Adrey got to meet Aunt Jacqui for the first time today!! John and I got a quick hello (ha ha ha) and then Adrey was drenched in love!!

After we had lunch with Aunt Judee and Aunt Jacqui, we headed over to John's brother's house so Adrey could meet Uncle Jim, Aunt Joanie, Christina (John's niece), and Jules. Jules is John's niece's son. Which makes John and I his GREAT UNCLE and AUNT!! How funny is that?!?! I'm 32 and I'm a GREAT something!! Jules is 20 months old and he so adorable!! And he's a talker... I mean he says SO many words! I couldn't believe my ears!! He's a smart cookie for sure.

Uncle Jim and Adrey

Adrey and Jules (and the bottom half of cute Christina's face)

This picture just makes me laugh!! I love his two toofers! OH, BY THE WAY... Adrey has another tooth that broke through on the top!! He has THREE teeth now!!

Awwww... all of John's siblings except Jeanne (Jeanne, we miss you and wish you were here tooooooo!)... Judee, Jim, Jacqui and John.

After the nice visit at Jim's we came home and we all took a bit of a snoozer. It was a gloomy day today and the one beer we each had a lunch made us a wittle sleepy:-) Adrey ended his evening with a bath....

Headed to see Grandpa again tomorrow...
