Funny Faces, Birthdays and Anniversaries...

This is Adrey's newest face and I LOVE it!! This is actually the tail end of "the face"... He makes this "O" shape with his mouth like he's shocked! So adorable!!

Yesterday was John's Birthday!!! Yay!! Adrey and I secretly got Daddy's gifts out of the closet and crept back into bed with him! Daddy opened his presents in bed and Adrey was ALL ABOUT it! Wrapping paper and ribbon at 7:00 in the morning??? It doesn't get better than that!!

Yes... Adrey and I got Daddy a Lob Wedge (a club) and some golf balls!!

Last night we went to the Michetti's house for dinner. It was the Michetti's First Wedding Anniversary and John's Birthday so we had lots to celebrate. When we arrived Mike answered the door and I immediately started laughing... Mike and John had on almost the same exact "outfit" (even though my dad says guys don't wear "outfits"). This next shot is like DeJaVu from a post earlier in the month when we went out to dinner and the two of them ordered fru-fru drinks! Since they were dressed like twinkies I had to get another picture!! They're such a cute couple, aren't they?!?! LOL!!

Billy and Adrey had some good one-on-one time!! I think Billy is explaining to Adrey that Wii's are for big boys! HA!

Tonight was a special evening, certainly worthy of its own blog post, but not sure I'll have time to make a post tomorrow night, so I wanted to go ahead and get it up. Tonight is the Second Wedding Anniversary for Jeremiah and Joanne. Unfortunately, Jeremiah passed away in February leaving behind his wife and my dear friend, Joanne, and their unborn child (due September 22nd... Miah Jane Beckman is the name Joanne has chosen for their daughter). Joanne and Jeremiah would often go to the beach downtown to go fishing or go for walks. So, we all packed up and went down to the beach in celebration and remembrance of Jeremiah and their second wedding anniversary.

Joanne and Jeremiah's closest friends and Joanne's family all gathered together.

It was really special.

The weather was perfecto and the scenery beautiful.

This was about 2 seconds after I set Adrey in the sand and about 1 second before he started crying!! He DOES NOT like sand!!
