We had quite a productive and outdoorsy day today! Got up this morning and headed to the grocery store first thing. I love Publix, but I love Publix the most when I have it all to myself (well, maybe not ALL to myself). Publix at 8:00 a.m. ROCKS!! And Adrey really enjoys the grocery store... bright lights, all the colorful boxes and packaging (which I find that I have to be very careful as to how close I leave the cart to the side of the aisle cuz his "go go gadget arms" come out and grab everything in sight!) and the cashiers and baggers always go goo-goo ga-ga over him which he especially likes! After Publix we went for a walk and then to the park to hit the swings. I swear he could stay in the swing all day if I let him!! After Adrey's morning nap, we headed to the water park right next to our house (literally about 1/2 mile). When I pulled in the parking lot there were about 6 school buses... my initial reaction was "UGH" because I was afraid it was going to be a ZOO... BUT as it turns out, they were all using the BIG KIDS pool... we practically had the kiddie pool ALL to ourselves!!
This is how it began.... The water was a wee too chilly for A-man.

Since the water was a little chilly, we decided to have a snack first, and then try again later.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again! YAY! SECOND TIME AROUND HE LOVED IT!!
Well, hellooooo shadow! LOL!
After the water park we came home took a baffers and then had another snacker. He was being so silly in his highchair!
The "O" face I was telling you about in my previous post!
Then tonight, before bedtime, the three of us went for another walk! It was such a beautiful evening. Tonight, John read Adrey his books and then put him in bed. About 10 minutes after Adrey was in bed, I could see in the monitor that he was still moving. I couldn't resist. I went in, scooped him up, and rocked him. We played a game or two of peek-a-boo (which he TOTALLY gets by the way... he'll put Quackie in front of his face and then peer over it to see me, and then crack up!!). And he likes it when I tickle his face. I do soft circles on his cheeks and then up and around his forehead and onto his nose.... he just closes his eyes with a grin from ear to ear. He wuvs me. Boy, I hope I never forget these kinds of moments, because they're the best. The absolute best.

Oh my goodness is he cute or what?? How was the water temp? We went a few weeks ago and it was un-swimmable because it was too cold for me! I didn't even try Lily!! I wanna go back, but don't wanna pay $$ to sit on the sidelines!! My newphew was there the same day as you!! How cool is that?
