Charlie Newborn Pictures - Take Two

Well, I can't believe that it's taken me nearly two months to post these pictures, but, well, it just has. My dear friend Rochelle took these pictures of Charlie when he was just a week old. Rochelle gave me the CD just before we moved from the condo back into the house, and it got lost in the shuffle, so I'm just NOW posting these beautiful images!!

It's hard to believe those skinny little frog legs that he entered into this world with are now filling out and have a few more creases! And all that beautiful hair? Yup, there's a lot of those silky strands on his sheets and blankets and his hair is thinning!! But he's still got quite a bit, so we'll see! Charlie smiles like crazy these days. And we got our first LAUGH last Friday! He's ticklish in his thigh area and I have video to prove it (although I took it on my phone so I'm not sure how to get it on the computer!). He is SUCH a happy baby. He is awake more these days and those awake moments are usually spent cooing and smiling. The evenings aren't always like that as he tends to have a fussy period (sometimes) between 7-9. But I haven't one complaint because he has just a beautiful disposition. Charlie, Adrey and I went to visit Nana today and Charlie woke up as soon as we got there... Nana loved it because she was able to hold him and see those beautiful big blues he has.

Adrey is such an amazing big brother. The other night Charlie was fussing in the swing so Adrey ran to the kitchen, dragged a chair over to the counter, stood on the chair and grabbed one of Charlie's pacifiers and ran back to the swing and shoved (yes, shoved) it into Charlie's mouth!! The mere fact that Adrey didn't put it in his OWN mouth surprised me (considering we took the paci away from him EXCEPT for nighttime only... not even at naptime), but then for him to give it to his little brother? Oh, be still my heart!! And a couple days ago I was changing Charlie's diaper and I hear a screeching of a chair, and it was getting louder, as it was dragged closer into the bedroom, and Adrey plopped the chair right next to the changing table, stood on the chair and kissed Charlie on the forehead, COMPLETELY UNSOLICITED!! I kid you not, this big brother LOVES his little brother! It totally, and completely melts my heart to witness it all. And to think I was worried for NINE months!! I am blown away beyond words at how well it has all unfolded. I am loving these little guys more and more each day which I didn't think was possible!!
