O.M.G.

The title of this post pretty much sums up this past week!! Yowsas!! I've missed the land of blog and am happy to report I'M BACK!! Oh, and there's SO much to report too! So many fun things going on! FIRST OF ALL, we are BACK IN OUR HOUSE!! I can't even begin to tell you how happy this makes us. Home again, home again jiggity jig. Oh it feels so good to be back in our own beds, with ALL of our own stuff (even though it's scattered everywhere). We officially moved back in on Thursday, but I spent all week at the house (during Adrey's naps) starting to unpack and get things in order. When all is said and done, I feel like the house is going to be more organized NOW than it was BEFORE the water damage! Completely moving everything out of your home and then back in kind of forces you to PURGE things you never use! It was a nice cleansing experience (a costly one, but one none-the-less)! You should try it!! But I would advise not doing it and having a baby at the same time! LOL! I will post pictures of the house as soon as the kitchen cabinet doors arrive. That's the last piece of the puzzle missing. The home looks fantastic and I can't wait for the big reveal. We might have to rent a bus or something and do the whole "MOVE THAT BUS" like the home makeover show. I'll work on that...

But for NOW, I want to share pictures of the party that Sarah and my mom threw for CHARLIE on July 17th, welcoming him to the world. All of our closest friends and (local) family were there to love on little Charlie. It was SUCH a special event and I feel so blessed to have all of these wonderful people on our lives who love us and our children. It's such a comfort knowing we are surrounded by such love. The theme was patriotic given his due date...

And Rochelle made this beautiful DIAPER cake. It was a HUGE hit! I have it displayed in Charlie's room right now. It's too cute to dismantle quite yet!

And a flag cake... and the yummy guest of honor....

There was even a steal drum band. They thought of everything.

And Charlie was passed around like a cheese platter! Never did he even make a peep! I swear, Charlie is the MOST CHILL BABY ever. Oh he's so delicious. He sleeps a lot, but when he's awake, he's very bright eyed and just looks around. He cries only when he's hungry, wet or cold!

A lot of Charlie's little friends came too...

And they, too, were passed around like cheese platters!!

Adrey did not attend the party... he and his cousins played at the Wayne's house where they had much more fun than if they had come to the party!!

Thank you Mom and Sarah and everyone else who participated in this beautiful event. We are SO grateful. Thank you for loving our boys and being the amazing people that you are. I love you.
And Tuesday was Erin's birthday celebration. All the girls (and Charlie) packed up and headed to the beach for sunset and laughter. And boy did we laugh. Girlfriends are the best. Seriously, I don't know what I would do without them. Happy Birthday Erin!!!!
Charlie landed on several laps that night too!

He was SO good as always. My little guy.

And Friday we celebrated Jen's birthday! Lots of July birthdays! Unfortunately my camera must have been on a weird setting because ALL the pictures were blurred! This is the best one I got, but I needed to give a shout out to one of my besties on her birthday! Happy Birthday Jen! Love you!!

This is just beginning of lots more pictures to come! Adrey (2) and Allison's (5) birthday party was on Saturday! I will post those pictures in the next couple days! I should be back on track posting as usual! Don't give up on me!!

WOWSA! Holy busy girl! How are you doing all this with a newborn? Ok, you officially have a halo and wings because you can do it all and make it look so easy! Glad Charlie is such a chill baby - what a relief!! xoxo
