4th of July!

I can't believe it, but we actually got our acts together, packed up and headed to the beach for fireworks on the 4th of July! It rained all day, but cleared up just in time for the show! Our little firecracker was dressed and ready for the occasion...

Based on how the day started, I never thought we'd have such a beautiful sunset sky. I love this icture! And the bird? Seriously... it's like it was painted in....

Charlie didn't make a PEEP the whole time... he started to stir just as the fireworks were ending so Mama gave him a little snack!

Adrey wasn't quite himself for the first 30 minutes we were there. He was very sad and just wanted to be held. He just wasn't in to the whole experience at first! The cupcake started his better mood and then as soon as the fireworks started he was a new man! He thoroughly enjoyed the light show!!

We are settling right in here at home. It's wonderful having John home and enjoying our new family of four. I have enjoyed every minute. Adrey is adjusting SO SO SO well to his little brother. It really hasn't phased him. Things might change a bit starting next week, when John goes back to work, and he doesn't always have one of our undivided attention. I'm a little anxious about John not being here (he's been SO helpful), wondering how I'll be able to do it, but I'm gonna put on my big girl pants and MAKE it work! It'll be great, I know it will, but will take some time finding our new normal and learning how to get around town with TWO kiddios!! I sure as heck can't be cooped up inside all summer!
