Isabella Lauren Anne Michetti

Welcome to the world Baby Bella.
Yes, she is finally here. Jen and Mike welcomed into our world their beautiful daughter, Isabella Lauren Anne on Friday morning at 8:28 a.m. Weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds, 15 ounces and 19 inches long! Oh she is just beautiful.

I love how one of her booties is missing and her little footsie in its wrinkled-newborn-perfection bearing all...
Adrey was even brave enough to touch Bella's foot. We played the "Smell Bella's foot".... followed by a "peeeeeeeee uuuuuuuuuuu" which he of course got a kick out of!

And I couldn't resist getting this shot of John and Adrey as we were leaving the hospital. And to think they'll be doing the same thing in two months only John will also be carrying an infant car seat with "Charlie" or "Lola" in it and Adrey will be a big brother. Wow.
Brings joyful tears to my eyes thinking about.

Jen and I experiencing our pregnancies together was such a wonderful and amazing experience. Our daily texts to each other checking in to see how each other were feeling and our weekly "cheer leading" texts (we each had our own imaginary pom poms we would shake as we sent the texts) to each other with "Happy 22nd week Mama" or "Happy 3rd Trimester Mama". I am so glad to have experienced it with someone I treasure so much. And it is wonderful to know our children will be just as close. I'm so blessed (big, big sigh).... Thanks Jen, I love you! I'm so happy for you and Mike. You guys mean so much to us! Welcome to the world Baby Bella.
On another note, I had to make mention of our experience this morning... John, Adrey and I were "greeters" at church this morning. Doesn't entail much, other than shaking all the worshipers hands as they entered the sanctuary and greeting them. A very pleasant event, actually, as it's a nice opportunity to meet some really lovely people. Adrey caught on VERY quickly... he saw that John and I were shaking people's hands and after only a couple people walking by, he started holding out his hand to shake as well. So people would shake all three of our hands and EVERYONE got the biggest smiles on their faces and commented on how sweet of a boy he is. Of course we already knew that, but it almost brought tears to my eyes it was so adorable! And you know how Adrey is with MEN... yup... he managed to hold his arms out for three different men to hold him (one being our Pastor) and they all gladly welcomed the opportunity! Oh, it was to-die-for-cute!!!!!
And one last note.... please send prayers and positive thoughts to my Grandma, Alice. She is in the hospital and not doing very well. Grandma and I have one of the most special bonds. I love her with all my heart and am so blessed to have her in my life. She just turned 93 years old last month. One of the kindest souls I know.
I love you, Grandma. More than you'll ever know.
