Happy "Birt" Rene!!

Saturday night was a great evening spent celebrating Rene's Birthday!! It was a low key evening spent at the Cove Inn on the bay. It was a GORGEOUS night, not a cloud in the sky, no humidity and a cool breeze. It was perfect. We feel very blessed to have become such good friends with Rene and Steve... all these years of knowing them, we never really hung out until this past year and now they are such great friends to us!

Adrey had a great time. He loves doing ANYTHING outdoors! Mr. Acres cut pieces of hot dog up and gave them to Adrey to feed to the fish. Adrey was amazed!! He loved all the boats, birds, fish, etc.

We even had some time for peek-a-boo...

I had a couple girlfriends and their kids over last night so we could talk "blog". They've both just started blogs and we picked each other's brains! Was educational but more FUN just hangin' with the girls. John refereed the three kids in the playroom. Such a good boy:-) When the evening was wrapping up, I said to Adrey, "Adrey, can you give Devin a hug?"... it was the cutest thing... Adrey looked at John then looked at me and then slowly leaned into to Devin to give him a "hug"... there was certainly no embrace, but it was an attempt and just the cutest thing ever! When he got our reaction (ooohs and aaaahs) he then went around and gave hugs to everyone in the room!
