What a weekend. Daddy left last Wednesday to go on a golf outing and got home today! Yippeeee! Five days without Daddy is way too long! But we're glad he had a good time with "the guys" (Kerry, my brother-in-law included) golfing his brains out! LOL! Adrey and I had a nice time together, taking advantage of all the one-on-one time we had. Saturday night, believe it or not, I had to show property starting at 7:00 p.m. The woman I was working with wanted to see the sunset from one of the units. I didn't end up getting home until 9:00.... Sarah and the girls had come to our house to watch A-man. When I got home Sarah and I hung out for a while and both girls fell asleep on the couch. Katelyn ended up spending the night, and Sarah scooped Allison up and they headed home. Sunday morning I woke up before Katelyn and Adrey and made blueberry muffins. Adrey woke up next and then Katelyn strolled out of bed about an hour later! Together, we had blueberry muffins and hot tea:-) I texted Sarah and told her muffins and tea were being served and she and Allison were over about 20 minutes later! It was pouring outside, together with our pajamas and slippers on, made the inside feel so cozy. About an hour into it Sarah said they had to go home because she had laundry to do. I, totally hoping she would say YES, but totally thinking she'd say NO, asked Sarah if she wanted to bring her laundry over to our house so we could all hang out. Without hesitation she said yes! Ten minutes later she was loading her whites in our washer! And the "morning" turned into an entire day... Me, Sarah and the kids. We read books, we played, we ate, we went grocery shopping (yes all of us), we ate cookie dough and watched a movie. It was a deliciously yummy day all the way around.
Adrey practiced his walking too. He loves walking back and forth from person to person. I love the progression of these pictures. Looks like the paper books that you flip the pages really fast and the characters move. He's walking from Sarah to me....

This morning
Adrey and I hung out at home until it was time to pick Daddy up at the airport. I got a call from the office, which I don't usually answer when I'm home with
Adrey (don't want a client to hear
Adrey in the background... so I wait till
Adrey goes down for a nap and then I return calls), but without thinking today, I answered the phone. The gentleman told me I was referred to him by a former client. I'm trying to watch
Adrey and concentrate on what he's saying, all the while hoping
Adrey doesn't start crying or fussing. I walked into the kitchen but was watching
Adrey in the office through the glass pocket doors. He was in the office pulling file folders out of the filing drawers and papers were flying everywhere! But he wasn't making any noise, so I didn't dare stop him. He then stopped what he was doing, looked out the sliding glass door and started waving! There was a landscape person outside fixing the sprinkler head and
Adrey was waving at him! I had to turn the phone away from my mouth because I was laughing... that was the cutest thing EVER! About five seconds later,
Adrey comes walking out of the office pushing his lion, whose volume was up to the loudest setting possible, playing some circus song, and then the door bell rings and the dogs go
freakin' crazy. I
yi yi. I couldn't hear a word this guy was saying. Talk about unprofessional. I had to ask him if I could call him back. It was the landscape person at the door telling what he did to the sprinkler, and then informed me that my "toddler" (yes, he said toddler, not baby, which is a little sad) had gotten into the filing cabinet!! He also commented on how
Adrey was waving at him!!
LOL! Is that funny or what?!!? I laughed out loud. Oh my gosh so funny.
Anyhoo, I called the guy back, and I think I managed to redeem myself!
But these were a couple pictures of him this morning... fascinated by the sprinklers...

Oh, and today I put SOCKS and SNEAKERS on his little feet and it made me burst out in laughter because it's so adorable. He just MIGHT have
cankles... and they're the cutest darn
cankles I've ever seen.

Thanks to Devin, for these hand-me-down sneakers...
they're like new and
Adrey loves them:-)

Oh happy days....
