I succombed. I never thought I'd do it, but I did. Adrey played in the MALL playground on Thursday. The weather did not cooperate with our planned trip to the zoo, so we ended up at the mall. He was happy as a clam crawling around on the nacky floors with all the snotty-nosed kids (not to mention one kid with a BLOODY nose... omg just thinking about all the germs and cooties makes me feel gross). Adrey encountered his first "bully" too. There was a little boy about 3 years old that kept taking Adrey's pacifier out of his mouth. The third time he did it he put it in his OWN mouth. Vomit. Yeah, that pacifier went in the trash. But, all-in-all, Adrey had a good time!
And he was sure to follow all the rules...

Yesterday morning I headed to the Wayne's house BRIGHT and EARLY.... 6:30 a.m. to be exact. Sarah and Kerry ran a 5K race and I went to their house to get the girls ready so we could go watch them cross the finish line! We stopped at Panera Bread for some hot chocolate on our way. Seriously? Seriously. These girls couldn't possibly be cuter if they tried. It's ridiculous.
We plopped down a sheet and settled in with some snacks and waited for our jocks, Sarah and Kerry, to cross the finish line!!
Here comes Kerry... 22 minutes!! Way to go!!
We even got a smile out of him!
And Sarah!! Her first 5K race and she did awesome...30 minutes!!!SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

Sarah wanted a family shot and she tried to pull Allison into the picture and Allison pulled away and said, "I don't want you to touch me you're too sweaty!"
I saw Kara there too! She ran the race pushing Lexi! VERY IMPRESSIVE!! Kudos to Tanya too, who I didn't see crossing the finish line, or I would have snapped a photo of her!!
Last night we celebrated my mom and Sarah's birthdays at Brio's! Such a nice time!
