We enjoyed a nice afternoon at the beach on Labor Day. We were testing the waters, so to speak, (pun intended) to see if Adrey likes sand now. The answer is a big fat NEGATIVE. I layed out a couple large beach towels and put a bunch of toys on it and then put Adrey down to play. He started to crawl and one hand went in the sand and, forget it, you would have thought he put his hand in a pile of poop. He lifted his hand and stared at it with a horrified look on his face and then just started crying!! Poor wittle guy doesn't like sand.
I managed to catch Adrey catchin' some air with Daddy. I took the photos from shore and then cropped them after the fact so they're not the best quality, but I'm actually pretty impressed with the cropping... sure beats a $300 zoom lense!!
Sarah took advantage of the saltwater and sunblock caked hair that Adrey had and gave him a new do... he was stylin'!! Not to mention he was "dancing" in Sarah's lap with his hair like this. Such a ham.

Adrey isn't walking yet, ON HIS OWN, but he is certainly ON THE MOVE! For the last couple months he's been walking around holding onto furniture, but the last couple weeks he has thoroughly enjoyed pushing Cozmo's dog food container and his lion around the house! He can't get enough of it!! He actually took 3 steps on his own on Monday too!! It's going to be so strange when he's walking on his own... he's going to be vertical. That's just too much for me to fathom right now. He's growing up before my eyes... I can hardly believe it! Click on the video below to see our little naked baby streakin' the house!!

I think that if I were you I'd quit my job and just stay home and kiss those butt cheeks ALL DAY!!
