Drywall and Bathtubs...

We have DRYWALL people!! Yes! Our room is more like a room now!! I think they'll be back tomorrow to put the finish on the wall (the interior "stucco-like" stuff... I so don't know my construction lingo) and then the floors, trim work, interior doors and painting!! Oh my gosh we're so close!

And we officially have a BATHTUB!!! Oh, how I love this bathroom now. I got a new "big boy" shower curtain and towels and hung the picture that Kelle took of Adrey in the tub and I love it!! I keep peering my head in to take a look.... ya know how when you get a new car, and you get out of it, you always turn around to look at it? Yep, that's what I keep doing.

Adrey thinks it's quite nice too.


The little booger escaped before I could put his jammy-jam-jams on!!

Adrey started CLAPPING yesterday! And whenever we say "clap", he obliges!! It just melts my heart. He's so cute I can't stand it. Check out the below video...

Yesterday we hit the water park and met up with some friends there. Adrey had a blast. The more we go, the more he enjoys it, and knows what to expect! We went under the waterfall in the big pool and he actually smiled when I did it! I wasn't sure if he'd get upset, but he thoroughly enjoyed it! Our little guy is getting so grown upsies! I had a major "oh-how-I-love-this-child" moment right before we left the pool. I was laying in the shallow part of the pool and Adrey was sitting beside me sucking on a toy. He crawled a few feet away from me and then turned around, sat down and looked at me... that's all it took.... I got this wave of emotion that went from the top of my head to the tip of my toes... this child is ours. This beautiful, blue-eyed, clapping, arm-raising baby is part of me.
