4th of July festivities!

What a fun 4th of July we had!! Unfortunately we couldn't do the parade because it was right during Adrey's nap time and we wanted him to be fresh for the rest of the day's events, but we did lots of other fun things!! We met the "Acres & Son Plumbing" crew (they were in the parade) and some other friends at the Tavern for lunch! We all saddled up in our red, white and blue!!

MY GIRLS!! Something's wrong with my camera and I'm not sure how to fix it. We look centered when the picture is being taken but then after it takes, we're not centered. Very strange. I'll have to get it looked at!

After lunch we came home and Adrey took a second nap to prepare for the evening event!! We went to Jen and Dave's house!! The Waynes came and my parents and a bunch of other people. Was a good time!!

There was water balloon tossing, water balloon volleyball, watermelon eating contest...

Adrey enjoyed watching everyone.

And DESIREE came to town from Houston to visit!!

I got to see her TWICE this weekend!!

When Allison got hers everyone cheered and clapped. So she put the apple back in the water and did it again so she could get the applause all over again!!

And, of course, there were fireworks!! We loaded up the car first so we could make a quick exit if Adrey was scared of them. BUT, our little man loved them!! He just sat in my lap in amazement!! Every now and again he'd reach back to hold me closer but he still wanted to see them! He was tired by this time too, so he was extra snuggly!!

Cozmo has not been a good boy lately and has being slowly destroying our house, so we had to resort to a cage when we're not home. Adrey LOVES to play with the cage. Honestly, we have TONS of toys and books in our house and he wants to play with the dog cage... that and Tupperware, dog bowls, toilets, the laptop, cell phones, outlets...

I love watching his little diapered bum-bum as he trails through the house exploring!
