A couple weeks ago, JoJo invited the Ritchey's over to meet some baby chicks that she bought. She had to promise she wouldn't be sending us home WITH a chick before I agreed to come! And she didn't, so we were good! As soon as we pulled up to Jo's parents' house, the first thing Adrey spotted was the yellow truck in the driveway. So Adrey and MJ went for a cruise.
As soon as Lexi and Devin arrived, Jo brought out the chicks. They were adorable.
And Adrey was pretty gentle with them. I wasn't sure what he'd do when he was handed one, but he was so sweet with it!
I asked Jo's mom if she would mind holding Charlie for a minute so I could take a few pictures. She looked at me like I had 6 heads and couldn't wait to get a hold of him! And as soon as she held him he rested his head on her shoulder! Such a little snuggle bunny!!
He looks rather concerned in these pictures, not sure why...
I absolutely love this next picture of Adrey and MJ. It looks like MJ could be talking to Adrey, describing the flowers, and Adrey just listening. I wasn't very close... maybe that really was what they were doing:-)
"So if you pick the flower, Adrey, and then set it on the ground right here....."
I love observing little people. They're so much fun to watch and learn from.
