The Ritcheys at a Glance

Ok, so this picture freakin' cracks me up and I laugh outloud every time I look at it! My, what a big head you have Adrey!!! It doesn't look like his head goes with his arms! And I think it's so funny that he was watching his cousin do gymnastics and turns around for a quick photo opp! And Katelyn in the background cracks me up too! How awkward and cute does she look all sprawled out on the floor?!?! Oh my, so funny!

What a week. Talk about a ball of stress. Ugh. I was unexpectedly (but very happily) home with Adrey on Monday and Tuesday because our sitter was sick:-( I've been playing catch up since yesterday... trying to get all my ducks in a row. It's August and I'm busy... what's wrong with this picture? I love it though. I really love my job when I'm productive and people are buying things. It's fun. Not-so-fun when people are scared to spend their money. Based on the recent actitivy I'm hopeful that things are starting to look up a little.

The addition.... Ok, here's the scoop. We added on a playroom and an office. One more week until the big reveal. It's basically been done with the exception of the built-in office desk. The playroom is complete (minus window treatments... still unsure what I'm going to do there... concerned anything I do is going to attract A-man and he'll destroy it!:-) I've furnished the room, right down to the tack board where we can display all of Adrey's wonderful art creations and the red clock on the wall. It's simple, kid friendly and the perfect space for Adrey. He loves his new room and we spend all our free time in that room. The dogs can't get in and Adrey can't get out!

The desk was partially installed today. Tomorrow they'll be back to install the cabinet doors and drawers and next week the granite guy will be installing the desk top. Oh the desk top... I chose the coolest granite and am psyched to see it once it's installed. I wish I had unlimited funds and could completely redo a house top to bottom just the way I like it. The unlimited funds part is where I'm falling short of being able to do that!

Excited for dinner/game night at our house tomorrow night. I'm sure I'll have some fun pics to share on Saturday!
