A novel...

This may be my longest post yet! Lots of fun days and events to share. Nothing significant about these next two photos OTHER than Adrey's just the cutest baby in the world. Seriously, anytime I can add a hat to the outfit, I do. Can't beat the cuteness of a hat....

Saturday night we headed to the Wayne's house to watch Kerry's band practice and to eat YUMMY ribs that Sarah prepared. It's always so fun to listen to the music. Boppa and Adrey

The kids built a fort in the cul-de-sac. I wish I didn't have to use the flash on my camera to get this shot, but otherwise it was blurry. It was pitch dark outside and the kids had lanterns lighting their fort! I remember those days well... loved building forts/tents and planning top secret missions...

Tuesday I was home with Adrey! It was SUCH a beautiful day outside we decided to lay out a sheet in the front yard and enjoy the afternoon outside. Adrey has always liked being outdoors... the warmth, the birds, the cars driving by (we even saw a BIG YELLOW SCHOOL BUS go by... that was big stuff).... was so nice.

I took Adrey's socks off to air his wittle tootsies out... LOVE the sock lines on the cankles. Love it.

And what a surprise... DADDY came home EARLY!! We weren't expecting the little white milk truck (his white PT cruiser... I know, believe me... company car though... completely paid for... really can't complain) to pull up so soon!! So Daddy joined in on the fun. Adrey is obsessed with John's ties... always grabbing for them!

Last night I had my girls over just for some good ole fashioned GIRL FUN! We ordered pizza, drank wine, laughed, cried... You know... all the things good friends do together...

Oh, and babies.... lots of babies came!! Tesa and Chris welcomed their son, BLAKE, into the world on March 3rd. What a trooper Mama is:-) Drum roll please....

Mama and Baby...

Another sweet baby whom I introduced to you back in December, is Alexis, Kara and Andy's baby. Sarah couldn't wait to get her hands on her! She's shirtless because she had just puked on the cute top she was wearing!!

Devin is Alexis's older brother. Devin and Adrey became fast friends and played on the kitchen floor together!

Not sure what Devin's doing in this picture but it cracks me up!!!

Of course I HAD to get a picture of the babes (Devin had already gone home... Daddy came to pick him up) together. I think Lexi and Adrey may have a crush on each other....

Yup... Lexi has eyes for A-man...

The evening didn't end there. I have to preface this next story with something that happened at the very beginning of the evening. When Kara, Devin and Lexi arrived, Kara told me that Devin had stepped in poop in the front yard (lovely... i yi yi). So she took his shoes off and put them in a Publix bag and left them in the driveway. In the meantime, John went out and picked up the poop and put it in a Publix bag and put it on the driveway too (the garbage cans were in the garage and the dogs were in the garage so he couldn't get to them). So, when everyone went to leave, Kara picks up Devin's shoes, throws them in the trunk making a comment about how bad his shoes smell like poop and then proceeds to lock her keys in the car! Sarah turns to go inside and sees the bag with DEVIN'S SHOES in the driveway!! Yes... Kara put the POOP in her trunk. We were laughing hysterically. John saved the day and got the door unlocked and everyone went on their merry way, but the whole time I'm thinking... can't WAIT to blog this!!!
