A day at the zoo...

Adrey went to the ZOO today for the first time!! Katelyn's 1st grade class took a field trip to Jungle Larry's so we met Aunt Sarah and Allison there to see Katelyn!! I took the above picture of Adrey just after we got there... I put him in the stroller and snapped THIS photo... doesn't it look like he's saying, "I can't WAIT!!". How about the OUTFIT... the socks? Way cute...

I specifically brought our little orange umbrella stroller (which I LOVE) because I thought it was the best stroller for Adrey to "see" everything. Turned out to be a disaster because when I would take Adrey out of the stroller, the diaper bag and my purse would flip the stroller over! I yi yi!!

Katelyn... Is she a mini Sarah or WHAT?!?!

We watched this zoo keeper feed this enormous alligator... what would possess someone to apply for that job? Selling real estate in this horrible economy even sounds better than that:-)

So, Sarah and I, WITHOUT planning, wore the SAME shirt today! Things like this happen ALL the time with me and Sarah. I will call Sarah on the phone and she'll answer and say, "Oh my gosh, I was just picking up the phone to call you!" Or a I'll start talking to Sarah about a something and she'll be thinking about the SAME thing. Not sure if it's a "sister" thing or a "best friend" thing or a "sister AND best friend" thing. Either way, it's pretty cool and I'm grateful for it... and her.

Even Adrey and I match... again... unplanned and no thought put into it...

John is in Michigan, with his three sisters and brother, visiting his dad. His dad fell down and broke four ribs and then days later suffered a stroke while in the hospital. Please keep Orville (yes, that's his real name:-) in your thoughts and prayers. We want him to get ALL better so that Adrey can meet his Grandpa soon. If you're reading this, John, we love you and miss you so much. Please give Dad (Grandpa) a hug and a kiss for us. xoxo
