We participated in the Relay for Life again this year. I believe this is my 10th year doing it. I kinda lost count, but it's been a long time supporting the cause. I got a lot more serious about it the year that I lost my aunt and a dear friend to cancer. This year, a dear friend of mine lost her husband to cancer. So, the Ritcheys and my parents raised money to support the cause!
My family raised nearly $3,500 this year!
Bonnie was the team captain (and my friend who lost her husband, Errol, in January).
She is one of the kindest, most giving people I have ever met.
I truly feel honored and blessed to call her a friend.

I am so glad I was able to contribute, even if only a little bit, to the cause. If we could only find a cure for this dreaded disease.
