Halloween 2012

So I'm fully aware that Thanksgiving has come and gone.... and I'm just now posting Halloween pictures?!?!  It's been one heck of a month!

Charlie woke up and was a cowboy for the first hour, but after a diaper change he threw a complete fit and WOULD NOT wear his cowboy outfit... so I dug through Adrey's hand-me-downs and came up with a monkey!!

You might recall Adrey as a monkey in 2010...

And Adrey was SpiderMan.  And so was his friend Alena.

The parade ended up in the school Library where they had bleachers set up for the classes to sit on so the parents could get class photos.  It was loud and chaotic and Charlie just wasn't happy.
Bwess his wittle heart.

Adrey was as happy as a lark, though, so that's good!

Me and my boys!

MJ came to our house to go trick-or-treating.  Adrey was really into it this year.  Charlie had a ball too, but I don't think really understood what we were doing.  But he did manage to have a piece of candy in his mouth at all times... he got that much!!

And prior to heading out, the kids did a little pre Trick-or-Treating jumping on the trampoline.  To watch, click HERE.

We ended up going around our entire neighborhood which is one mile.  Adrey walked the whole thing until we got about 10 houses from home and then he had a total meltdown.  All three of the kids did.  One by one they went down like flies and were all completely exhausted.  When we got home I put Adrey in the bath tub for a quick hose down and he's standing there, sobbing, snot running down his nose into his mouth and he was saying over and over again, "Mommy, I'm just soooooo tired.  I'm just soooooo tired."  And after being in bed for 30 seconds he was out!  Charlie, on the other hand, was up for another hour.

The Saturday after Halloween was the Swamp Buggy Parade so we made our way downtown (you know me and parades).

Kids had a ball.  And got tons more candy... just what we needed!
Thanksgiving pictures and a November recap coming soon to a theater near you!
