Wow. All I can say is that Memorial Weekend was JAM PACKED full of fun! May 25th was John's birthday and as we do every year, we headed to Tommy Bahama's to celebrate another year in the life of John! We ended up doing "boy/girl"tables and what a riot THAT was!! I'm so mad at myself that I forgot my camera, but I did. I managed to get three measly photos from my cell.
And by measly, I mean REALLY MEASLY.

Lots of laughs were had a dinner. And lots of laughs were had post dinner. Before the cake was brought out, I decided a prank needed to be played. I told Sarah that we needed to tell Kerry that we're all going to sing Happy Birthday to John really loud but that we then needed to quietly tell everyone else NOT to sing. When Sarah told Anthony the plan, Anthony said, "Oh, man, I'm gonna go ape-#$@! and sing really loud!" SOOOOOOOOOOOO.... we decided ANTHONY was a better target than Kerry seeing he TOTALLY set himself up! So, we secretly told everyone the plan NOT to sing when I tell everyone to sing. And it couldn't have played out MORE perfectly!!

The day AFTER John's birthday dinner last year was THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE. I have never felt so horrible in my entire life, and I swore not to make a repeat event of that!! And I didn't this year! I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed (John... not-so-much) and we were out the door by 7:50 for Adrey's T-Ball game!
Sunday was a fun-filled day! During the day we headed to Mason's ONE-YEAR old birthday party! Mason is the grandson our dear friends Rene and Steve!! The party was darling and the birthday boy simply adorable. I, again, forgot my camera but managed to get a little video snippet of Adrey and his pal Ashton (Rene and Rochelle's nephew) eating their cupcakes. To watch it click HERE.
After Mason's party we headed back to our house and hung out with the Waynes before we headed to the Beach Club for sunset. Sarah was trying to get Charlie to come sit next to her on the couch, but Charlie wanted nothing to do with it. If you'd like to see the magic of M&M's, click HERE.
Next was the Naples Beach Club where we enjoyed sunset, snacks and drinks on the lawn with all of our buddies!
The kids had an absolute blast playing with the balls and running around like crazy!! We even played a few rounds of "Red Rover" which not ONE SINGLE kid knew how to play (apparently we're old) and "Duck Duck Goose"!
Ella and Jack are twins. Cutest little things ever. I've been friends with their parents (Ben and Sara) for probably 10 years now. The kids go to Adrey's school so we see them often. Jack calls Adrey "buddy"... adorable.
As siblings often do, Jack and Ella got in a tiff. Jack bit Ella on the back of the neck. I remember it happening because I saw Ella run off, but it all happened so quickly and then it was over. And subsequently forgotten. But as I was going through the pictures from the evening to do this post I came upon this one and LAUGHED OUT LOUD... cuz, without even know it, I'm pretty sure I caught him in the act of doing it!!
And twins, Leo and Lola came too!
