It's official. The Shucarts threw their 1st Annual "Cinqo De Derby" party on May 5th. A combo Cinqo De Mayo and Kentucky Derby party. It was so much fun they've decided to make it an annual event! Chris and Rochelle were dressed to the NINES!! So cute I can't stand it!
There were prizes for Biggest Hat, Prettiest Hat, Best Kentucky Derby costume, Best Cinqo De Mayo Costume. I took home nothing:-) And there were horse bets too. I won nothing:-) HA!!
Rochelle was freakin' hysterical when she was reading off the winners of the contests (all of the guests voted the winners)... as she came in SECOND for two categories and was sure to let everyone know loud and clear! LOVE YOU ROCHELLE!
There were even word scramble games (with the horses' names). We didn't win that either:-)
John took a picture of all of us girls, and Kerry deliberately walked right in front of us.

And Sunday Funday was spent at a resort pool with some good friends, lots of kids, a few cocktails and lots of laughs!
This picture of Adrey and Skye will not rotate for some annoying reason, but it's too cute not to post! Adrey and Skye are such good buddies. I love seeing them play together. They SO enjoy each other!
Was such a fun day and we're looking forward to having many of those fun days ahead of us as Summer break approaches us!!
