Well, I was just kind of organizing in my head what I was going to type on this blog post and come up with an excuse as to why I haven't posted in 10 days... I started to type, "I've been slacking...." but that is not the case! I've been up to my eyeballs in STUFF. Been feeling lots of stress... So much going on. No more than any other mom out there, just the typical stuff, but stressful none-the-less!
It's that time of year, though, where we try to help out those that aren't as fortunate as us. We made our annual Costco / St. Matthew's House run on Sunday. We filled three grocery carts and two flatbeds with groceries for the homeless.

And tonight Adrey helped me bake a pumpkin cheesecake. He was ALL ABOUT helping measure, pour, stir, mix. And he kept saying, "I'm doing awesome, mommy, right?" and "Mama, you so proud of me?" I yi yi, I could eat him to pieces. He was my little buddy tonight and I loved the one-on-one time I got with him. I sometimes feel like John gets more "fun" time with the kids because I'm doing other stuff (cooking, laundry, etc.) so having this little "moment" for us to share was totally up my ally. And he loved it and felt so good about himself.
And Charlie was on the other side of the kitchen observing from afar.
I swear if he could say, "CHEESE" he would EVERY time he saw a camera. I swear he gets it. He's gonna be a star I tell ya.
Feeling extremely blessed on this Thanksgiving Eve.
