It was one of those weeks. One of those weeks where nothing seems to get done around the house, the laundry stacks up, the beds don't get made, dinners mean finishing up whatever's in the fridge and the blog doesn't get updated. Ya know, we all have 'em!! But that doesn't make Valentine's Day any less special even if I'm talking about it a week later. Mama and the boys made Daddy a special Valentine's Day photo.... and I'm lovin' how it turned out. And I only had to bribe Adrey with a bag of mini M&M's in order to get this shot... well worth it.
And Saturday night, Joanne and Miah Jane had their first annual Valentine's Day party at their house. They opened their door and welcomed 30 women into their home... we ate, we drank, we cried, we laughed. It was a wonderful night.
Miah Jane was the life of the party...
And so were these ridiculously yummy Nutella heart-shaped sandwiches.
Um, heaven on bread.
These two beautiful women both share a story. A story of heartache and pain. And a story of hope.
Joanne sent out an email letting us know she'd be having this party and to "save the date"... she said she's determined to "get her February back". Jo, I hope you do. She made the most beautiful, heart-felt toast... not a dry eye in the house. Jo, you are one amazing woman.
All the Vuko women... Um, can you say good genes?!?!?
And Sheri Grace made her debut at the party. Sheri was born in November and she's such a little peanut! Heather, I love these pictures so much. If Sheri is anything like our Sheri, you're gonna have your hands full! She's beautiful. Love you, girl!!
