Like father, like son(s)

I walked into our room the other day to find THIS...

Adrey is a miniature John.  Adrey loves his daddy SO MUCH.  I swear he thinks John hung the moon.  If John and I are both home with Adrey, I'm pretty much second fiddle.  It's Daddy-this, Daddy-that ALL. THE. TIME.  As much as I LOVE witnessing it, I have to be honest... it DOES tug at my heartstrings a little bit!  I always say that I've still got hope with Charlie!  LOL!

Such a little ham.  Adrey is saying the cutest things these days.  I sneezed today and Adrey said, "Bless you, Mama".  And then today Adrey asked me to help him with a puzzle on the iPad and I did it and he said very casually, "Cool, Mom".  Things as small as that just make my day!

And this little guy... this little guy has a double ear infection, is taking steroids for his cough and is getting a nebulizor treatment twice a day.  But he's getting better, and you'd never know he was sick by the way he's acting!  These next few pictures were taken just after he woke up from a nap.  Precious.

Cuddling on the couch in the evenings before bed is something we ALL love doing.  A little Blues Clues, maybe a couple marshmallows ("fa-faos" as Adrey calls them) and a tall glass of warm milk is pretty much how every one of our days come to an end.  Me likey.
