Lots of fun things to post! I'm finding that I'm not able to post as often these days, but when I do post, it's jam packed with lots of pics and events!! Aunt Jeanne (John's sister) came to town on Thursday and left today. We had SUCH a nice visit with her! She hadn't yet met EITHER of the boys so she was itchin' to get down here and get her hands on them! Friday Jeanne, the boys and I headed to the Naples Grande and walked the boardwalk that goes to the beach. Charlie was strapped to my chest and Jeanne pushed Adrey. Adrey enjoyed taking it all in! He had a "bug" on Thursday and Friday with a slight fever and was a little clingy, so he didn't too much enjoy the beach part of it but I think he really enjoyed the fresh air! We decided to ride the tram back to our cars instead of walking and Adrey REALLY liked zooming by all the pedestrians!
Friday night we had plans for 20 people to go to PJ Changs to celebrate my birthday (thank you, John, for coordinating and planning such a fun night). Our plans were BIG TIME changed, though, due to a gas line being compromised up in Ft. Myers... the natural gas line that was damaged provided gas to ALL of Lee and Collier counties... therefore NO RESTAURANTS had gas to cook with! We got a call from PF Changs around 11:00 Friday morning telling us they were closed. John and I were scrambling tyring to figure out what to do. I called another restaurant in town and they said they could take us but it was a limited menu. So, I sent out a mass text to everyone letting them know where to go. At 3:00 PF Changs called back and said they had gas again and that they were open and we could come! Soooooo, I sent out ANOTHER mass text and told everyone we were BACK ON for PF Changs. At 4:15 PF Changs called and said that they didn't have gas anymore and that they were closed again!! LOL! By this time it was comical! Another mass text was sent out and we were back to Plan B again. We all met at AZN, the other restaurant with the limited menu, and they told us they could no longer handle the party of 20. O.....M.......G..... We now have 20 people standing in front of AZN all wondering what in the world to do!! Rochelle and Chris saved the day and they got us a table for 20 at Bokempers down the street. It certainly wasn't PF Changs, or AZN, but it accomplished our goal of getting everyone together for a good time! And here are some pics to prove it!
Billy and Katelyn spent much of the evening acting as though the other one was not sitting 6 inches away....
But after a few drinks (KIDDING!) they were having a grand time!
In addition to Jeanne being in town, my Aunt Sue (the aunt that owns the condo we stayed in when our house was being repaired) was in town toooooooo!!
I. CAN. NOT. BELIEVE. I forgot to get a group photo at the end of the evening. I did, however, get a photo of the girls (Rochelle, you must have already left)... and this process was a comedy act... LOTS OF LAUGHS!
Another fun night with the greatest friends and family!
LOVE YOU GUYS!!
Saturday night we took Jeanne on the Naples Princess for a sunset cruise... our staple thing to do when out-of-towners come to see us! It's so much fun and such a great way to experience the beauty of Naples!
(By the way.... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new bracelet Kara and Jo! THANK YOU!! xoxo)
Gee, can you tell they're related?!?!
I'm so framing this next one...
Adrey is John's shadow AT ALL TIMES. When Mommy AND Daddy are around, he wants nothing to do with Mama! It's Daddy ALL THE WAY! It's really very cute... but I can't say it doesn't hurt my feelings just a wittle bit:-(
And the sunset did not let us down. It was another picture-perfect sunset sky.
And Jeanne was "representin'" Auburn that night:-) WAR EAGLE!!
I love Charlie's expression in this next picture!! LOL!
And it was as if the dolphins knew to perform just as the sun was setting. There were bunches of them and they were coming right out of the water. Very cool.
Holy shmoly does Charlie ever drool. His onesies are constantly sopping wet!! But he's a happy drooler so we don't care!!
And to back track just a bit... Charlie had his 4 month appointment on Friday and he got an A+!! He weighs 14 lbs. 10 ozs. (25th percentile) and is 26 inches long (75th percentile) and his head is 50th percentile... so he's long and lean with a perfect head! He's just a perfect little peanut! The doctor asked if he smiles and laughs and I laughed right out loud because that's what he does 90% of his awake time! Speaking of "awake time"... we've determined Charlie is not much of a sleeper anymore. He slept quite a bit his first couple months, but now not-so-much. He prefers to take short little cat naps every now and again (SOMETIMES he sleep for long periods but not very often). He's just like his mama... he doesn't want to miss anything! But I said to John "at least he's happy when he's awake!"
We are so glad you could come visit Jeanne... you made quite an impression on A-man... he loves you very much! I loved hearing him say your name and watch him interact with you. I wish the boys could see ALL our northern family more often because you are all SO loved.

WOW! I can't believe all those changes in venue for your birthday! Happy Birthday btw!! Yaa, I just checked facebook and it's TODAY! (throwing balloons up in the air, blowing noisemakers)
What a great idea to go on the Naples Princess for visitors - we have family coming in town in a few weeks and that'll be perfect!
