Saturday was such a GREAT day! I LOVED SATURDAY! Saturday morning Charlie and I were up bright and early and out the door by 6:50! We met Jen and Bella at Starbucks and then headed to a walk-a-thon to benefit Down Syndrome research. A friend of mine, Kelle Hampton, has a beautiful daughter, Nella, that has DS and Kelle organized a team to walk and raised over $5,000. GO TEAM NELLA!! After the walk, we headed back home, got cleaned up and dressed in our Halloween/Fall wear and were off to the Pumpkin Patch in search of two perfect pumpkins for the boys!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE OF JOHN AND CHARLIE. I love how Charlie is just molded to John's chest. Yumma-licous.
I have to say, I was a little disappointed with the pumpkin patch this year. It's still the nicest one in town, but it was 10x better last year. I was shocked to get there only to find out that ALL of the beautiful trees that shaded the patch last year had been chopped down and a church built in its place. There wasn't a lick of shade and it just didn't have the cozy Fall feel that it had last year (granted it was 15 degrees cooler last year too). BUT, we still had a fun time checkin' out all the pumpkins. AND, we ran into our dear friends Kara and Joanne and their little ones.
Adrey's newest thing is to say "CHEEEEEESE" for the camera!! And I love how his smile is slightly tilted! He sees a camera and immediately starts saying "cheeeeeeeese"!!
Charlie doesn't remember much about the pumpkin patch. But I filled him in later.
The Michetti's went too! Sweet Bella and her adorable onesie.

Adrey doesn't mind holding Charlie at all. In fact, he holds his arms out so that he CAN hold Charlie. But you have to be nearby (of course) cuz when he's done holding Charlie there's absolutely no advance warning and he just pushes him off his lap! LOL!
Oh, and Saturday night you ask? Oh.... just wait. Me and my girls rocked it out Saturday night and we've got some great pictures to prove it. Those'll be posted tomorrow.
