I KNOW... 2 posts in 2 days!! What's gotten into me?!?! Last night we celebrated our dear friend, ROCHELLE's, birthday at BEACON BOWL!! Chris was so sweet to treat EVERYONE to bowling, drinks and food to celebrate Rochelle's big day. It was such a fun night!!
Adrey spent about the first 30 minutes just sitting in one of our laps just taking it all in. There was lots of noise between people talking, the music and the balls crashing into the pins, and lights and smells so all of his senses were in overdrive!
But it didn't take long before he was scaling the walls and participating fully in the evenings events!!
He wanted to "help" everyone bowl and we were constantly picking him up and bringing him away from the lanes so that he didn't get clocked in the head! But he was SO good and he thoroughly enjoyed himself!
Adrey "drove" the control panels for a short time too.
Was such a fun night! And when we got home, Adrey surprised us BOTH with some wonderful "noise making"!! I love hearing Adrey make a monkey noise because he purses his lips out really far and says "oo-oo" just like a monkey. So last night Adrey and I were "chattin" and I said to him "Adrey, what's a monkey say?", and he cooperated nicely and pursed his lips and did the "oo-oo". So then I said asked him "what does a duck say?" (which I've never asked him before and he's never done it) and he said "cack-cack". I was in SHOCK. I screamed to John and he came back in the room saying he had heard it too! So I thought, what the heck, "Adrey, what does a cow say?" and he said "ooooooooooo" by this point I couldn't contain myself I was so excited!! So, why stop there? I then said, "What does a pig say?" (totally thinking that was a tough one and he wouldn't say that one) and he said "goink-goink"!!! OH.... MY..... GOSH! After I picked my jaw up off the floor I could NOT stop smiling! I was so impressed with my little man! Out of NO WHERE he just started spouting off things he's been keeping inside for so long! Oh my gosh, Adrey, you have no idea the joy you bring to your Mommy and Daddy. We love you so much. Watching you grow, learn and love is the most riveting thing we've ever done. You are our world and we are so proud of you (wiping the tears from my eyes).

And thank you for making animal noises.

OK, I give up. Everytime I try postng on this thing , it never posts. That is great news about A-man!! I know he had it in him. He & Ashton were a hoot. I am so glad everyone had fun. Love you so much Leah!!! xoxoxo
