Adrey had his 18 month appointment on Friday. He weighs 25 pounds 6 ounces (50th percentile) and is 34.5 inches tall (90th percentile)! Almost a yard stick tall! Holy Shmoly! Adrey had to get three shots but was such a brave little guy. Dr. Vedder said since Adrey isn't talking (nope... not saying a word, although he understands everything we say and knows a bajillion words, just chooses not to SAY them yet) he should see a speech therapist. I tend to disagree because I know Adrey is perfectly fine, just a late bloomer. But since the doctor thinks this is what should be done, and we pay him for his advise, we are going to give it a whirl and see if we can get our little bugga to start chirpin'! I'll keep you posted on that front...
Adrey has gotten extra comfortable around the dogs these days... even chooses to use them as furniture if he feels he needs to sit... LOL!
And they couldn't care less!

Adrey has a couple teeth coming in right now and his WET shirt is proof of it!
Adrey was goofin' around on the office the other day and then took a break to have some of his lemonade... heaven for bid he should SIT UP and drink...
Adrey does this new thing where he "cleans" his hands off. We taught him if he gets dirt or crumbs or something on his hands to wipe them together to get it off. So now he does it after touching everything! It's hysterical!
This next picture ranks in my TOP 5 FAVORITE pictures. I love how Adrey has a grin from ear to ear and his proud daddy is in the background with that same exact grin. Words can't justly express how happy this picture makes me. This will soon find a home on a frame.
Friday night I went out with my girlfriends to celebrate Kelly, Lynn and Joanne's birthdays! Love you girls and am so glad we could get together to celebrate!
Saturday I worked all day but had a two hour break between showings so I met John and A-man at "Clip Bang Buzz" so Adrey could get his second hair cut!!
We waited very patiently for our turn.
When Adrey saw the "seat" he got to sit in his face lit up! It was the cutest thing ever. He got the biggest smile on his face and waited ever-so-patiently to be strapped in before the jet "took off". He grabbed on to the steering wheel and was went "up up and away"!
They even had Elmo for him to watch!
Everything was going GREAT until she put the cape around his neck and sprayed his hair down. It was ALL down hill from there. This picture illustrates that perfectly. 
Today has been a WONDERFUL day. We've just been puttering around the house gettin' our chores done and playing with our little man. Adrey loves to "help" us too.
Adrey is napping now and Daddy is painting Adrey's new "Big Brother Room" as we speak. I took a before picture but will unveil it once the room is complete. Furniture should be arriving in the next couple weeks! Adrey had to test drive the ladder for Daddy!

Lily hasn't had her first haircut yet, but somehow I think we'll have very similar pictures as Adrey at Clip, Bang, Buzz. :)
