Vegas continued...

Well, our trip to Vegas has come to an end. We're sitting at the airport (it's 1:07 a.m. Pacific time) waiting to take the red eye home. In 9 hours (assuming we don't run into any crazy weather!) I can wrap my arms around Adrey. I have never missed him so much. I know he's in such good hands with Gigi & Boppa and Aunt Sarah & Uncle Kerry, but my heart aches not being with him.
Saturday was such a fun day. We just tooled around Vegas.... went to the top of the Paris "Eiffel Tower" and saw the sights, did a little shopping and then parked ourselves at the Cabo Wabo bar while John, John and Lesa sipped on some Margaritas (boy did they look yummy) and we all ate chips and salsa!!

Saturday night was the wedding. It was at a beautiful hotel just off the strip. A NON SMOKING hotel, might I add, which was SO wonderful (with my olfactory senses in overdrive due to the pregnancy, the smoke smell was making me so ill)!! On our shopping excursion today, John bought himself a much needed suit. My husband looked absolutely dashing. Had to get a picture of him with Marie (of Donny and Marie).

Andrea and her dad...

Elvis made an appearance at the reception which was quite a hoot!

And my dear Marlene!! The mother-of-the-bride who looked more beautiful than ever!! It was so wonderful seeing her. Thank you, Marlene, for including us in this wonderful event. We are so happy for Andrea and Bob. Kathy and her boyfriend Luke came too!!
(By the looks of this picture it appears the baby is growing in my ARM. Barf. I'm just going with the picture was taken at a bad angle!!)

We went back to the Mirage where the LOVE show is featured. We wanted to get a picture in front of the Beatles glow wall but couldn't do it the night of the performance as there were a million people. Oh, we were told that Meg Ryan attended the show on Saturday night!

Lesa and John it was SO wonderful spending time with you. Lesa, I miss and love you so much and wish we lived closer to each other. Thank you for your friendship. You mean the absolute world to me. Friends like you don't come along every day and I feel blessed to have you in my life.
8 hours and 32 minutes and we'll home with our little man!!
CAN'T WAIT.
